Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cumberland County Dear Pepper Enthusiast, Enclosed are the registration materials for the 19th International Pepper Conference to be held on September 7 - 10th, 2008 in Atlantic City, New Jersey USA. This premier conference includes concurrent breakout sessions, oral and poster sessions, full-day educational field tour, germplasm session, published proceedings and an opportunity to interact with colleagues new and old. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Paul Bosland, a Regents Professor in horticulture at New Mexico State University and Director of the Chile Pepper Institute. He is popularly known as the “Chileman.” Please keep in mind that you must pay the registration fee in order to attend any of the meeting events. Final conference registration deadline is August 26. We are offering one-day registrations for those unable to attend the entire conference. Register by July 1 to take advantage of the lower registration fee. There are several other deadlines for you to note. All abstracts are due by 5:00 p.m. on July 18, 2008. They will be filed electronically. To participate in the all-day educational field tour, you must be registered by August 1, 2008. Cut off for hotel reservations at the reduced rate is August 26. After August 26 rooms are available on a space and rate available basis. Sincerely, |
