Dear Friends, On behalf of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES) and Rutgers University, you are cordially invited to attend and participate in the 19th International Pepper Conference to be held on September 7 - 10th, 2008 in Atlantic City, New Jersey USA. Since 1973, every two years pepper enthusiasts from around the world have met to discuss new technology, innovative ideas and cutting-edge research in all areas of pepper production throughout the world. This meeting will be no exception, with a focus on Phytophthora capsici research from university and industry personnel from around the world sponsored in-part by the Interregional Project-4 (IR-4) and the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station. The two day conference will focus on research and poster presentations and conclude with an all day field tour of pepper production throughout southern New Jersey where over 3,000 A of peppers are grown each year for fresh markets in the northeast United States. This year’s conference will be held at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center just blocks away from our famous Atlantic City casinos, boardwalk and beach! A shuttle service directly to the Sheraton Hotel from Philadelphia International Airport and from Atlantic City International Airport will be offered making accommodations easily accessible for all incoming attendees! Please mark your calendars now and plan to attend. More information on the meeting will be coming out over the next few months! Sincerely,
|
